Push the Resource
Protection button to open the module in order to Add and Delete
The Resource Protection module contains a Default Built-in List of protected resources
and allows you to add and remove 'records' for additional processes, files, folders
and registry keys, such as password files, instant message data, game accounts, license
keys and other sensitive data. These items are isolated from all other Untrusted
Resource Protection is enabled by default. DefenseWall automatically monitors the
Default (built-in) protected resources once (1x) per minute.
It can be switched off in the checkbox - but not recommended.
Add Resource Protection
This is a simple, 2-step process - first add the application or process and then add the
associated items containing sensitive information that you want protected and
Push the Add New Process button
Add Application: Windows Explorer will open - select the process or applicationto
Add Process: DefenseWall Process List will open - select the process to add.
Push the Add new file...button
Select the newly added process/application
Add File/Add Folder: Windows Explorer will open - select the file or folderto add.
Don't forget to click Apply!
If adding Registry key: DefenseWall opens Windows Registry dialog:
Remove Resources Protection
Removal of processes/applications resource protection and their files/folders/keys is
done the same, in reverse.
The Add Files Folders (right pane) also has a right-clickContext Menu
